Mission
The mission of the Natural Resources Department is to preserve, protect and enhance the natural resources within the Town of Eastham as well as provide education to the public. This is achieved in different ways such as shellfish propagation to protect and enhance the natural population, management of the waterways, and maintenance of the conservation areas. The Department also enforces both recreational and commercial shellfish, aquaculture, and maritime town and state laws.
