Harbors & Landings

The mission of the Harbormaster is to ensure reasonable access for vessels and safety of operators and passengers in the waters of the town.

Operation of vessels is governed by state statute and regulation and boaters must read and obey all the rules for their safety and that of others.

In Eastham, separate bylaws regulate the operation of motorboats on freshwater ponds as well as the operation of Personal Water Craft (PWC) on the waters of Town Cove and Nauset Marsh.
