Neighborhood Crime Watch Program

Neighborhood Crime Watch report all suspicious activity to the Police DepartmentThe Eastham Police Department has a very active Neighborhood Watch Program made up of eight Town Regions and 93 Block Captains. The program is part of a Triad consisting of the Eastham Council on Aging, the Fire Department, and the Police

Department. The purpose of the program is to supply additional eyes and ears throughout the community to assist the Police Department if suspicious activity is observed. The Block Captains are responsible for an area of town in their immediate neighborhood. If suspicious activity is observed the members alert the Block Captains who then alert the Police through (911), and the suspicious activity is investigated by the Police Department.

The Neighborhood Watch Program is always looking for new volunteers to help cover additional areas within our community. If interested you may contact the Eastham Police Department at 508-255-0551 and ask for Sgt. Josh Adams regarding the Neighborhood Watch Program.
