[ARCHIVED] High Wind Warning

Alert

Looks like some heavy rain for us, tonight though tomorrow, with wind gusts up to 60mph.  We are preparing for the possibility of power outages. Eversource has classified the incoming weather event as a Type-3 event which means in the event of power loss it can take up to 72 hours for restoration due to scope of damage and ongoing weather hampering their efforts. Take the time to make sure you are prepared for the possible loss of power.  We are hopeful that power loss is minimal and the 72 hour estimate for restoration can be shortened.
The Eastham Public Safety Team is closely monitoring the situation and will be prepared to respond as needed.
More updates to come as we receive them.
