Please be advised the Transfer Station does not accept credit cards, only cash and check.


The Town of Eastham now offers residential food composting drop off.  Look for the new composting station near the recycling center at the Town Transfer Station.  Per the Town’s regulations, you must have an annual sticker or pay a fee to access the site. Backyard compost bins available for $46.00 at the Gate House.

Responsibilities

  • Providing our residents with the most cost-effective way to dispose of municipal solid waste (MSW)
  • Ensuring our operations comply with Laws and Regulations related to the disposal of Solid Waste
  • Encouraging and assisting residents in eliminating materials from the MSW stream by providing a diverse variety of recycling options
  • Educate and collaborate with the public to develop Waste Source Reduction activities
  • Work in collaboration with the Recyling Committee to host the Swap Shop
